Upcoming Events

Lack of accreditation for resident training (of both NPMCN and WACS). Non- availability of modern conventional radiography machines, non-availability of computed tomography / MRI / lack of modern ultrasound machines, incessant depletion of consumables such as xray films, contrast materials e.g scanlux, bariumetc. Obsolete Radiology building, Inadequate number of staff: radiologist, resident doctors, radiographers, nurses, radiography assistants, secretaries clerical officers and record officers


Additional Information

Lack of accreditation for resident training is affecting optimal training of residents and their clinical use. Obsolete ultrasound machine hinders accurate assessment of patients condition. Also affects no of specialised ultrasonography studies being attended to. Non-availability of mammography machine is hindering mammagraphic services Absent CT and MRI hinders definitive diagnosis of some clinical diseases Obsolete radiological building including lack of offices for consultants, affects optimal performance of the staffs: radiologist, residents, radiographers and others. Incessant depletion of consumables affect contrast studies e.g HSG, RUCG, MCUG etc
