The newly elected executives of the Senior Staff Association of University Teaching Hospital, Research and Allied Institutions, UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital Osogbo Branch (SSAUTHRIAI) paid a courtesy visit to the office of the Chief Medical Director (CMD), Dr. Babatunde Afolabi to reaffirm their commitment to building a cordial working relationship with the hospital's management.
The delegation which was led by the immediate past Union Chairman, Comrade Nurudeen Tolani congratulated the CMD on his leadership and appreciated the management for its continued efforts toward improving healthcare services, staff welfare, and the overall development of the institution.
Also speaking during the visit, the newly elected Chairman, Comrade Amos Adeleke appreciated the CMD for his fatherly roles and advice, stressing that the new executive committee is ready to give full loyalty and support to the Management committee on staff welfare and always give room for constructive dialogue.
"The union would work closely with management to address issues affecting staff while ensuring uninterrupted quality healthcare delivery to patients" he said.
In his response, the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Babatunde Afolabi congratulated the newly elected executives on their successful election and urged them to embrace transparency, teamwork, and mutual respect in the discharge of their responsibilities. He stressed that the management operates an open-door policy and remains committed to engaging staff representatives on matters that will advance the hospital's mission.
The CMD further encouraged the union leaders to prioritize the welfare of members through peaceful engagement and constructive partnership, noting that collaboration between management and unions is essential for institutional growth and improved patient care.
