.The Chief Medical Director, UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo Dr. Babatunde Afolabi have extended warm felicitations to His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke on his re- election as the Executive Governor of Osun State.
In a statement issued on behalf of the hospital, Dr. Afolabi described the governor’s victory as a resounding endorsement of his administration’s commitment to good governance, people-focused policies and inclusive development across Osun State.
“The declaration of His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke, as the winner of Osun State Gubernatorial Election is a clear reflection of the trust and confidence the good people of Osun have in his leadership.
We congratulate the Governor and the people of Osun State on this peaceful and successful democratic exercise,”
Dr. Afolabi stated further that the re-election comes at a pivotal time for the health sector, as the state government continues to prioritize healthcare delivery, infrastructure upgrade and workers’ welfare. He expressed optimism that the second term will witness greater collaboration between the state government and UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital in the areas of Specialist Care, Medical Training, Research and expansion of access to quality healthcare.
“As the Tertiary Healthcare Institution in the state, UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital remains a strategic partner in the actualization of the Governor’s vision for a healthier Osun. We are confident that under his renewed mandate, there will be increased support for health institutions, improved welfare for health workers and policies that will make healthcare more accessible and affordable to our people,”
The CMD reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to sustaining Excellence in Clinical Services, Training and community health programs. He assured that Management will continue to work in synergy with relevant Authorities to align hospital operations with the health agenda of the Governor Adeleke's administration.
