UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital SSAUTHRIAI Applauds Governor Adeleke for Advancing Healthcare Excellence
The Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Research Institutes, and Associated Institutions (SSAUTHRIAI), Osogbo branch, has lauded the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for his unwavering commitment to the enhancement of healthcare services across the state.
Comrade Tolani Nurudeen, Chairman of the SSAUTHRIAI branch at UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, expressed profound appreciation for the Governor's commendable strides in prioritising healthcare development. He particularly extolled the Governor's approval of the new minimum wage and his pledge to implement the Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS) and the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS) for healthcare workers.
Speaking during the association's second annual congress, recently convened at the UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Comrade Tolani Nurudeen underscored the Governor’s visionary leadership, which has significantly elevated the standard of healthcare delivery within the state.
The Chairman also heaped praise upon the hospital's Chief Medical Director, Dr Babatunde Afolabi, for his transformative leadership and the remarkable progress witnessed in the institution under his stewardship. He urged the CMD to persist in his laudable agenda for the hospital, ensuring that the welfare and interests of staff members remain a top priority.
The congress featured the distribution of end-of-year welfare packages to all association members, a gesture that underscored the union's commitment to staff well-being.
As part of the event, Mr Adeniyi Adebayo from the Osun State Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget Development delivered an insightful lecture on preparing for post-retirement life, providing valuable guidance to attendees.
The congress witnessed the attendance of the association’s current executives, alongside the pioneer chairman, Professor Hassan, marking a significant moment of unity and reflection on SSAUTHRIAI's milestones.
