Dr Temitope Ilori, the distinguished Director-General of NACA, visited Osogbo, Osun State, today. The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including the Honourable Commissioner for Health, the Permanent Secretary on Health, the Executive Secretary of OSACA, and Dr Babatunde Afolabi, Chairman of the Society of Family Physicians of Nigeria (SOFPON), Osun State chapter.
Dr Ilori's visit underscores her unwavering dedication to combating HIV/AIDS in Nigeria. As the first female Director-General of NACA, she has been a trailblazer in the healthcare sector. Her previous roles as Commissioner for Health in Osun State and Chairperson of the Osun State Agency on Control of HIV/AIDS have provided her with profound expertise in addressing the challenges posed by HIV/AIDS.
Under her visionary leadership, NACA continues to make remarkable strides in reducing the spread of HIV/AIDS across the nation. Dr Ilori’s visit to Osun State is a significant milestone in advancing these efforts. Her presence was warmly received by Dr Babatunde Afolabi and other key stakeholders.
