The Chief Medical Director of UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Dr. Babatunde Afolabi, recently welcomed the executives of the Medical Women Association of Nigeria (MWAN), Osun State Chapter, to his office. Led by Prof. O. A. Olasode, the courtesy visit aimed to show solidarity with the new administration and share the association's vision.
MWAN's vision focuses on promoting the health and well-being of children and women, advancing gender equity, and combating gender-based violence. Prof. Olasode emphasized the importance of their mission, and Dr. Afolabi acknowledged that their vision aligns with the hospital's goals.
Notably, one of the MWAN members holds a key position as Deputy Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee of the Hospital. This highlights the strong collaboration between MWAN and the hospital.
