UNIVERSITY OF OSUN TEACHING HOSPITAL COMMENCES NEW YEAR WITH INTERDENOMINATIONAL SERVICE
The University of Osun Teaching Hospital (UTH) in Osogbo began the new year with an interdenominational service, featuring prayers and praise from Christian and Muslim groups. Chief Medical Director, Dr. Afolabi, emphasized the importance of dedication and hard work in achieving excellence. He highlighted the hospital's notable achievements over the past two months and urged staff to rededicate themselves to their work, striving to make the hospital a "Centre of Excellence."
Dr. Afolabi expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for his proactive efforts in addressing the hospital's challenges. He encouraged staff to pray for the governor's success.
Rt. Hon. Niyi Owolade, Chairman of the hospital's board, expressed thanks to God for the staff's well-being and encouraged them to deepen their faith and take pride in their work. He assured staff that the hospital would reclaim its lost glory in no distant time.
The Director of Administration, Dr. O.A. Owolade, and the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee, Dr. Olufemi Ala, also urged staff to support the Chief Medical Director's transformation agenda and the Management's policies, which are geared towards the hospital's progress.
The event was well-attended by the Board Chairman, Management Committee, Heads of Department/Units, and numerous staff members.
