UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital Set for Expansion
The Chief Medical Director of UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, Dr. Babatunde Adeola Afolabi, unveiled plans to collaborate with the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning, and the Office of the Surveyor General to expand the hospital.
At a meeting with the Committee on Perimeter Survey and Masterplan, Dr. Afolabi revealed the Governor's enthusiasm for the project and his willingness to assist. The CMD urged the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure to provide necessary guidance and logistics.
Dr. F. Olaoye, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning, commended Dr. Afolabi and promised full support from the Ministry.
Attendees included hospital management team members, Works department staff, and representatives from the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, and Surveyor General's Office.
