The Chief Medical Director, Dr. Babatunde Afolabi, has taken proactive steps to enhance the safety and security of patients and staff at UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital.
Dr. Afolabi recently visited the Commissioner of Police, Osun State Command, Mr. Umar Abba Muhammed, to request support in strengthening the hospital's security network. He expressed gratitude for the police command's swift response to the hospital's calls for assistance and requested the permanent posting of police officers on the hospital premises.
The Commissioner of Police assured Dr. Afolabi of the command's support, acknowledging the hospital's past cooperation with the police. He promised a more synergized relationship for mutual benefits. The request for permanent police officers and patrols was granted.
