The Commandant, Nigeria Civil Defence Corps, Osun State Command, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Medical Director, UTH, Osogbo, Dr Babatunde Adeola Afolabi.
Dr Afolabi solicited synergy and a good working relationship between the hospital and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), emphasising the necessity for security agencies in hospitals to ensure staff and patient safety.
Commandant Igbalawole Sotibo commended the hospital's management team for delivering quality healthcare to Osun State and its environs. He assured the management that the NSCDC Osun Command would support the hospital, particularly in respect of security, and collaborate to enhance security measures.
Present at the meeting were members of the hospital's management team and representatives of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps.
