The Management of UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital (UTH), Osogbo, recently paid a heartfelt courtesy visit to the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, at his office in Redemption Camp along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.
Led by the Chief Medical Director, Dr Babatunde Afolabi, the delegation expressed profound gratitude for Pastor Adeboye’s enduring ministry and spiritual impact. Dr Afolabi recounted a previous visit for prayer, which he joyfully noted had been divinely answered. He sought the revered cleric’s fatherly blessings and presented the hospital’s infrastructural aspirations, with particular emphasis on its Transformational Agenda.
This agenda, he explained, has driven a wave of developmental progress through strategic partnerships and philanthropic contributions, complementing the efforts of the Osun State Government under the leadership of Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.
A key highlight of the visit was Dr Afolabi’s appeal for support in constructing a Ten-Bedded Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a critical facility aimed at enhancing the hospital’s capacity to deliver life-saving care.
Representing Pastor Adeboye, the National Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Sunday Akande, warmly received the delegation and assured them that their request would be relayed to the General Overseer. He expressed confidence in the church’s commitment to healthcare development, citing previous medical initiatives championed by Pastor Adeboye.
Dr Oladepo Owolade, Director of Administration, delivered a vote of thanks, commending RCCG’s humanitarian legacy and praying for continued growth and divine strength for Pastor Adeboye.
