Today, we celebrate 65 years of Nigeria’s independence—a milestone that calls for both pride and reflection.
From the heart of Osogbo, and on behalf of UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, I extend my warmest wishes to every Nigerian, at home and abroad. Our journey as a nation has not been without its trials, but it is in our resilience, our unity, and our unwavering belief in a brighter future that our true strength lies.
At 65, Nigeria stands at a crossroads. The challenges we face are real, but so too is the promise of renewal. We must not only remember the sacrifices of our heroes past, but also commit ourselves to the work of rebuilding—brick by brick, heart by heart.
In the field of medicine, we see daily the power of healing. It is this same spirit of restoration that must guide our nation forward. At UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, we remain devoted to excellence, compassion, and service—because a healthy nation is a hopeful nation.
Let this Independence Day be more than a celebration. Let it be a declaration.
