UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital CMD Recognised for Transformational Impact
The Chief Medical Director of UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, Dr Babatunde Adeola Afolabi, has been conferred with the prestigious Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity by the Southern Youth Forum (SYF), in recognition of his outstanding contributions to healthcare delivery and institutional development.
The award presentation, held in commemoration of SYF’s 25th anniversary, was led by the forum’s Deputy President, Ambassador Olajide Olakunle, who praised the remarkable transformation witnessed at the hospital since Dr Afolabi assumed office. He attributed the progress to the synergy between the CMD, the staff, and the management team, stating that “the forum celebrates excellence, and this award is a testament to the CMD’s dedication to service and leadership.”
